Location: Belonging to the famous Bulgarian chain, thee 4- star Lion Hotel in Borovets first opened its doors in 2004. It has a typical Alpine architectural look- full of warmth, cozy furniture and soft colours which create an inviting and relaxing atmosphere for a ski vacation. The hotel is situated in one of the most serene parts of the resort, in what is now referred to as the old centre- next to the ice fountains and there is daily transport to and from the ski runs free of charge.
Accommodation: There are 62 standard rooms, 65 luxury rooms, 24 studios and 4 apartments, and one Presidential Suite. The rooms and apartments are decorated with neutral, comfortable furniture and overlook the snow capped forest. The studios and apartments and include: a sofa bed, cable TV, kitchenette with microwave, fridge, bar, dining table, fully outfitted bathrooms with bathtubs.

Food and Drink Facilities: Typical to the authentic Bulgarian mountain spirit, the hotel offers its guests a Bulgarian tavern which captures traditional Bulgarian folklore and culture with a colourful interior, delicious food specialties and a live program. Presenting a more formal dining experience, the restaurant at the hotel can seat 150 guests and will delight them International cuisine and some Bulgarian selections. The split- level lobby bar is has a relaxed atmosphere, an exclusive selection of wines and a variety of cocktail drinks and aperitifs.
Getting there: Getting to the Lion hotel is easily done because it is positioned near a main street of Borovets and can be reached by car, taxi or bus. The hotel is a 10 minute walk away from the resort centre
Spa services: Spa center of the complex offers an indoor heated pool, whirlpool, sauna, solarium, healing and restoration professional massage and modern fitness center.
Meeting Facilities: The conditions at the Lion Hotel are ideal for business gatherings, seminars and conferences. The working studio is a great for team building events, while the main conference hall has a capacity of up to 100 attendees. It is naturally lit and sophisticated. Technical equipment includes: wireless internet, wireless microphones, multimedia, DVD player, interactive screens and flipchart.
