Me and three friends stayed at the apartment in the Borovets Hills hotel and we had wonderful time in Bansko. The hotel is very beautiful and we used spa centre every night after skiing. Staff was very nice and help us to find skis.
Food at the restaurant was very good and near to the hotel are all the bars and clubs. Borovets is very fun for young people who like to ski and have fun.

My daughters and I decided shared one of the studios at the Hotel Rila. I’ll start off by saying that I’d never EVER gone skiing before in my life, but my daughters are real enthusiasts and convinced me to tag along. I found the hotel to be extremely convenient. Everything was really close by- the restaurants, the bars, the lifts…
The room was extremely warm which I found to be great after a long day out on the snowy, cold mountain. Our studio was large enough and was really thoroughly cleaned by the chambermaid. The food was nothing to write home about, but there are plenty of restaurants with great, cheap food right by the hotel and we ate out every night.
My ski instructor, Ivan was really great and had me on the blue runs (which I must say was a big persona accomplishment). Great trip, great hotel.

My family and I went to Borovets for the first time and we really enjoyed our ski trip. We’d gone skiing a couple of times before and found this to be as good as other winter resorts we’d visited in other countries. What was great about the hotel is that the kindergarten downstairs was really wonderful. Our 5 year old loved it, all the staff speaks English (there’s even an English lady there all day to help out) and she practically didn’t even want to leave, nor was she super excited to see us return from skiing.
The skiing facilities are a two minute walk away. Make sure to get to the Gondola early otherwise it’s quite a wait.

We found EVERYTHING at the hotel simply delightful. The hotel is truly luxurious and having been around the resort and dined at some other hotel restaurants, we kept reaffirming that we’d picked the best hotel in the resort. My husband said the fitness room equipment was very expensive and modern and I spend a few days at the spa.
Ski facilities are close by as is the resort centre, yet there’s a lot of privacy in the part where we were. It was very quiet at night and I get the feeling that staying at one of the super central hotels must have its drawbacks, as there are swarms of drunk, loud people bar hopping until the early hours of the morning.

This is the perfect hotel if you’ll looking for something practically on the ski runs and right by the lifts. The hotel offers really good accommodations. I stayed with a large group of friends and there was plenty of snow and the skiing/snowboarding was absolutely fantastic. Everyone around the hotel is friendly and hospitable, the bars are a plenty (although I think we visited Chili Peppers and the Buzz Bar most often) and the drinks are pretty cheap compared to the UK. I don’t know about the ski schools but from what other people said, the instructors are quite good. The hotel restaurant has really good pizzas which is great if you’re too tired to go out.
