Weather in Borovets

Winters are cold and generally with intense snowfall in the mountains with average January temperatures of -5 °C in the ski resorts and up to – 20 °C on the high peaks. The snow blanket lasts from December to April. Average daily temperatures throughout the year are 9.1 °C and the mean summer temperatures vary from 14 °C to 19 °C and are ideal for rest and escape from the otherwise boiling temperatures in the rest of the county. The coldest months are usually December to February , while the warmest July to August.
